About Clinical Health Promotion Centre
Clinical Health Promotion Centre (CHPC) at Bispebjerg-Frederiksberg Hospital (BFH) has existed since 2010 and has its background in Clinical Unit for Health Promotion (Klinisk Enhed for Sygdomsforebyggelse) from 1999. CHPC includes a WHO Collaborating Centre for Evidence-Based Health Promotion in Hospitals & Health Services.
CHPC has a twin center at Lund University, also including a WHO Collaborating Centre focusing on implementation of Evidence-Based Clinical Health Promotion. Both Centers are focusing on tobacco, alcohol, overweight, malnutrition, physical activity and co morbidity among patients and health care staff. The overall aim is to obtain a better health gain by implementing health promotion as a part of the patient partway to all in need.
CHPC at BFH covers three areas: Research, Education and the National Secretariat of the Smoking Cessation Database.
