Getting started: Writing your first manuscript for publication

Publication in international peer-reviewed journals is the key to a successful academic career. Meanwhile, early-career researchers with little experience face major challenges. The first step is conducting the research. The next step is writing an article and getting it published—a daunting task fraught with difficulties. This course aims to help PhD students with a medical background tackle these difficulties and navigate their way through the writing and submission process to produce their first published article.
