Practical Course in Systematic Reveiw Techique (PhD Students)

The Systematic Review has become an integrated part of all PhD thesis at the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences; either as a part of their introduction and discussion or as an individual paper. The objective of the three day course is therefore to give the participants skills regarding the planning and construction of a systematic review.

The participants will be trained in reading and writing a systematic review, including presentation of methods and principles for establishment of a protocol, primarily according to Cochrane criteria, critical evaluation of the reviews, meta- and subgroup analysis. The participants will discuss the implementation of the conclusions derived from the systematic review in their clinical setting including patient perspective.
